The Unication Gearstar Battery Charger is powered by a 5VDC 1.2A wall adapter and will recharge up to 10 Gearstar pagers at one time. When a recharged battery is inserted correctly into a Gearstar pager, the pager will beep, flash, and vibrate simultaneously.
Once the Gearstar Charger is connected to an electrical source via the wall adapter, the charger’s power LED will light indicating the unit has power. Each pager can then be placed on the charger by lining up the charging contacts and lightly pushing the pager down into position, one on top of the other. Each pager’s power LED will light when the pager is stacked correctly and remains on during charging. When charging is complete, the pager’s power LED will turn off.
A rechargeable battery can only be charged while in a Gearstar pager. The charger will not damage the rechargeable batteries by overcharging.
